A Shoot to Remember

Sorry for the long lapse in posts.  It's been a busy time here for me.  Fall and into the holiday season is always crazy, so I appreciate you all bearing with me.

I had the opportunity to do a shoot for longtime family friends yesterday.  It was a neat shoot as we employed the loves of this man....his wife, his horses, and in the next few weeks, his family.   Health issues are at the forefront of his life, therefore it made this shoot really meaningful to not only him and his family, but for me as well.  I'm so honored they chose me to do this for them.   I went in with a heavy heart, but it also makes my heart full knowing I could do this little bit for them.  It makes it all worthwhile for me and made me realize I'm doing what God put me on this earth to do.  Help people make and capture memories.  I'll post more at a later date.  For now, please say your prayers for my friends as they go through this challenge.

DeFoe Family

Another great family from Watford !  I've known Tim & Stacy all my life, but was fun to finally meet their great boys!   This family is really into hunting and the outdoors, so we had a blast doing some of those shots.  I'm sure you all think I've totally lost it photographing Stacy with deer horns behind her head.  Just seemed to go along with her "Trophy Wife" shirt.....I couldn't resist.   :)   Happy Hunting!

The Leiseth's

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the Leiseth family recently near my old stomping grounds of Watford City.    Karen is a classmate of mine from high school and I've also known Troy all my life.  Was fun to catch up with them again and watch their girls in action with their horses.  They're big into roping & rodeo, cowgirling, and simply....the country life.  Thanks Troy, Karen, MacKenna, & Jayden for a fun evening!   Troy gave Brady, my little guy, a new rope to try and torment his sister with by roping her feet.  Thanks Troy !  :)

The Bergem Family !

Here's the Bergem Family!  Jennifer is my classmate and I've known this family most of my life.   What a fun time we had photographing all of them in honor of Paul and Dorothy's 40th Wedding Anniversary!  Congratulations you two !  The adorable little ones were so fun and really kept us entertained.
